With few dedicated cancer-specific emergency rooms, these patients are often inappropriately triaged, misdiagnosed, under-treated, or redirected to their oncologists without adequate resolution of their urgent concerns.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNow in its seventh year, this course brings together specialists from across all areas of the cancer treatment spectrum to provide emergency department providers and staff with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage both common and uncommon oncologic emergencies. Each session features didactic lectures followed by a live panel discussion and Q\u0026amp;A with expert faculty.
